I would like to take the time to say thank you to a very special person in my life, Mama #EdieAikels, who passed away a few days ago.  You were my #gospelmusic Mama who taught me so much more than #singing.  I still can’t believe that you are gone.  We just spoke a few weeks ago!  I am so thankful and blessed for your presence in my life as a mentor, friend and colleague!  I wish I could sing with you right now but I know that you are singing with the angels!  Thank you for everything Mama!  The last song that I sang with you was #Totalpraise by #RichardSmallwood so I thought that I’d play that for you on the piano.  I can still hear you voice and see you conducting us!  I miss you and I love you!  God bless you!!
